The company is at an exciting inflection as we continue to expand our existing brand portfolio and deepen relationships with new and existing customers. The Welding Technician 1 will be responsible for welding, grinding and assembly of enclosures. The Welder is also responsible for ensuring that components are made to exact specification and in a timely manner.

LOCATION: Onsite - 1509 Hamilton Rd, Bossier City, LA 71111

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless steel enclosures and components.


• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.


• Assemble enclosure parts using fixtures, clamps, and measuring tools.


• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.


• Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as required.


• Operate welding equipment, hand tools, grinders, and fabrication machinery safely.


• Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures.


• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing schedules.


• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment perfered.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.


• Experience welding sheet metal and enclosure assemblies preferred.


• Knowledge of welding symbols, measurements, and fabrication techniques.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
