Compensation

$260,000 – $390,000+

Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced White Collar Defense & Investigations Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market.

If you have experience representing corporations, executives, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, or other clients in government investigations, internal investigations, or complex white collar matters, I'd love to connect.

Ideal Background

• 3–7 years of white collar defense, investigations, or complex litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm or government agency

• Experience handling internal investigations, government investigations, regulatory enforcement actions, and corporate compliance matters

• Experience involving the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), or other federal and state regulatory agencies

• Experience conducting witness interviews, managing internal investigations, and reviewing complex document productions

• Experience drafting investigative reports, legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and regulatory submissions

• Experience counseling clients regarding corporate compliance, risk management, and enforcement issues

• Former experience with a U.S. Attorney's Office, DOJ, SEC, state Attorney General's Office, or other government agency is a plus

• Strong legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
