WIC Clerk - River Plaza - Full Time

WIC Support Staff

Under the general supervision of the Program Director with guidance from the WIC Team Leader, performs varied office duties. Greets public, answers phones and interviewing participants to complete intake process. Enrolls program applicants to obtain demographic information and determine income eligibility and offer voter registration. Issues benefits to participants, explains proper use of eWIC card to participants, maintains appropriate records. Maintains computer system: maintains data entry and retrieval; prints benefits and forms; schedules appointments. Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

The primary location for this position is at River Plaza.

Mon - Thurs 8A-5:30P

Fri 8A-12P

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent

• One year data entry experience with related clerical duties

• One year experience in dealing with the public

• Reliable transportation

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
