Wildcat Blockchain, LLC offers digital asset mining hosting solutions. Our distributed hosting approach accommodates hash servers, while we diligently monitor and maintain both their operational status and the facilities housing them. With globally competitive operational costs, remote diagnostics, on-site analysis, repairs, and strategic planning, we ensure optimal performance. As we expand our operations, we seek a skilled individual to join us as a Full-Time Mining Operations Technician, with a flexible commitment of approximately 30-40 hours per week.

The Bitcoin Repair Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of cryptocurrency mining hardware and related infrastructure. This position requires advanced troubleshooting, operational oversight, and the ability to perform routine and complex maintenance tasks to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of mining rigs.

Job Functions

• Operational Checklists & Workspaces: Maintain and update operational checklists, ensure compliance with standards, and keep workspaces clean and organized for efficient repairs and assembly.


• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, repair, recondition, and inspect mining equipment, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and readiness before deployment.


• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and repair histories.


• Safety & Collaboration: Adhere to safety protocols, uphold cleanliness & organizational standards, and collaborate with team members on repair strategies.


• Client Communication: Communicate SOPs and provide updates to clients as needed.


• Performance Monitoring: Monitor mining rig performance, analyze metrics, and address inefficiencies to ensure optimal operation.


• Hardware Management: Manage firmware updates, diagnose and repair hardware issues, and replace/configure components like fans, hash boards, and control boards.


• Documentation & Reporting: Document procedures, share best practices, and report operational status or issues to supervisors.


• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranties, or replacements.


• Strategic Assistance: Assist in drafting operational strategies and recommending hardware upgrades.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.


• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Bitcoin mining hardware (ASICs, GPUs, and mining rigs) and basic electrical knowledge.


• Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


• Work Ethic: Self-driven, independent, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.


• Teamwork: Cooperative and collaborative approach to achieving team goals and maintaining efficiency.


• Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
