Wireless Modem Software Engineer (PHY experience REQUIRED)

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. • Design and implement advanced physical layer algorithms for our wireless communication solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of physical layer software/firmware with other system components.
• Optimize the performance of the physical layer system by conducting in-depth analysis, debugging, and code optimization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to verify and validate the functionality and performance of the physical layer system.

• Significant work experience in baseband wireless modems, physical layer design, and implementation is required.
• Strong expertise in developing and optimizing physical layer algorithms for wireless communication systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Prior experience in developing Layer 1 software for NXP chipsets is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• Wearables experience.

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga, CA office or Arlington, TX.  The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
