Work Order Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented Work Order Specialist to manage the flow of work orders between our office and our contractor network. You'll be the critical link that keeps jobs moving — making sure every contractor has the information, documentation, and approvals they need before they step on-site, and following up to confirm each job is accepted and on track.

What You'll Do

• Create, assign, and track work orders for contractor teams using Remi's proprietary work order platform


• Review job details for completeness (scope, materials, customer info, access notes) before assignment


• Confirm contractor acceptance of each work order and follow up on outstanding assignments


• Serve as the point of contact for contractors with questions about job specs or requirements


• Coordinate with sales, project managers, or customer service to resolve missing or unclear information


• Flag scheduling conflicts, delays, or missing documentation before they become problems


• Maintain organized records of work orders, approvals, and communications

Who We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, dispatch, scheduling, or administrative coordination preferred, but not required — we're happy to train the right person


• Highly organized with strong attention to detail — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch


• Comfortable juggling multiple work orders and priorities at once


• Clear, professional communicator, both in writing and over the phone


• Proactive problem-solver who follows up without being asked twice


• Comfortable learning new systems quickly — full training on our internal software is provided, no prior experience with it required


• A team player who can work well with contractors, sales staff, and management alike
