Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure/Certification: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana. Current BLS certification required.
Experience: Prior nursing experience preferred. Experience or training in wound care, pain management, chronic disease management, or ambulatory/clinic nursing preferred.
Mental/Physical Effort: Must be able to perform nursing assessments, treatments, patient education, and other clinical duties associated with wound care and pain management. Work requires attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to organize and manage multiple patient care needs and changing priorities. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, providers, and other healthcare professionals. Requires frequent walking, standing, reaching, bending, and positioning associated with patient care and clinical procedures. Must maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
