Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator
Location: Arlington, TN
Shift: 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $22.00/hour — higher depending on experience
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator to support outdoor yard operations. This role involves moving structural steel, loading and unloading trailers, and operating various material-handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Move and position trailers throughout the yard.
- Operate Pettibone equipment to transport steel materials.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move structural steel.
- Assist with general outdoor yard and material-handling activities.
- Maintain reliable attendance and follow safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Experience operating cranes and material-handling equipment preferred; training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Experience loading structural steel using an overhead crane required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to safely handle steel and other materials in a busy yard environment.
We are open to candidates with experience operating some or all of the equipment listed and may provide training for the right person.
