Yard Production Supervisor

Muskingum Iron and Metal is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate production and operational activities in a scrap yard. You will manage people and recycling equipment implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Organize and maintain inventory and recycling products

· Production Scheduling of people and equipment

· Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

· Communicate job expectations and train/coach employees

· Determine staffing levels and assign workload

· Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems

· Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

· Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

· Maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications: Must have experience in management preferably in warehouse or outdoor yard environments. Someone who has managed, and excavation crew or construction site would be a good fit for this position. Must have experience operating or being around heavy outdoor equipment
