Yardman - Transmission (Oncor)

Position Summary: The Yardman for Transmission checks materials in and out, loads and unloads materials for the jobs. This position assists subs in loading and unloading materials and maintains the yard. 

Essential Functions: 

• Maintain inventory. 
• Take care of deliveries. 
• Help subs load and unload safely 
• Keep the yard secure  
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must have 1-2 years’ of inventory experience 
• High School Diploma or GED is required 
• Must have experience with heavy equipment 
• Able to perform rigorous physical labor 
• Willingness to learn 
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License 
• Must possess knowledge or be able to learn how to use a computer for: 
• Diagnostics 
• Equipment Inventory management 
• Work Orders 
• Able to lift in excess of 50lbs. 
• Willing to work outside of the normal work schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required for the position. 
• Willing to work over-time when required.

Work Environment:   
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments, and the employee is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
