Yard/Material Mover - 1st Shift

NABRICO Marine Products, Inc., is part of NABRICO’s Inland Barge Group, and is a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. NABRICO Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. NABRICO Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, NABRICO Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You’ll Do:

· Expedite materials between the warehouse, yard, and production departments.

· Operate heavy equipment, including a yard dog, to safely move trailers and materials throughout the facility.

· Store incoming materials using a forklift and other material handling equipment.

· Pick materials from inventory for distribution and arrange delivery to workstations and production areas

· Assist with maintaining organized inventory and material flow to support daily operations

· Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines while working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You’ll Need:

· Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and yard dogs.

· An understanding of material organization, inventory movement, and production support processes.

· Ability to safely transport and position trailers, materials, and equipment throughout the facility.

· Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings while operating equipment.

· Ability to function as a team member and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and coworkers.

· Dependable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
