Youth Rapid Rehousing Program Mission
The Youth Rapid Rehousing (RRH) Program is a housing-first initiative with the goal of moving youth experiencing homelessness quickly into housing while also addressing their current needs through an integrated team composed of case managers, a peer support specialist, and a therapist. This team provides services to ensure the youth, ages 18-24, maintain their housing as well as help them work towards goals they create in relation to improving their mental and physical health, vocational or educational pursuits, building life skills, and connecting to the community to reach self-sufficiency.
Position Summary :
To provide consistent, individualized, and thorough case management services to clients who are moving out of homelessness and are living in housing throughout Salt Lake County. The case manager will support the clients in obtaining and maintaining stable housing and addressing current needs as defined by the client. The RRH case manager position is housed out of the VOA Youth Resource Center and includes mobile work meetings with clients out in the community/in their homes.

A degree in the field of social services and two years’ experience working in the social services field or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
