Youth Sports Coach Weekend Programs

Do you love sports and enjoy working with kids? B.E.S.T. is looking for enthusiastic, reliable coaches to lead fun and engaging youth sports classes in Queen Creek.

Our instructors work with young athletes through age-appropriate activities, games, and skill-building exercises. You don’t need to be a professional athlete — we’re looking for people who are energetic, dependable, comfortable leading groups of children, and excited to create a positive experience for every participant.

What You’ll Do

• Lead youth sports classes using B.E.S.T. lesson plans and activities.
• Teach basic sports skills through games, drills, and hands-on instruction.
• Keep children engaged, active, and involved throughout each class.
• Create a welcoming and encouraging environment for athletes of different ages and ability levels.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and other coaches.
• Arrive prepared and on time for every scheduled class.
• Set up, use, and put away sports equipment as needed.
• Adjust activities when necessary based on the group, facility, weather, or class size.

• A strong communicator and team player.
• Willing to learn and follow established coaching methods.
• Available for consistent weekend work.

 Previous coaching or teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Experience working with children, playing sports, coaching, childcare, education, or recreation is helpful.

The Job

• Part-time, hourly position
• Primarily weekend classes
• Classes may take place indoors or outdoors.
• Expect to be on your feet and actively participating during classes.
• Must be able to lift and carry sports equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
