General:
The Treasury Technology Intern will be part of the Treasury Technology team in the IT Finance & Treasury Technology Tower. This tower leads the technical aspects of Mizuho’s treasury management business including the Capital Markets business, the banking entity and the balance sheet strategy teams. It ensures these technologies are effectively integrated, maintained, and optimized to meet the needs of our treasury functions. This position is responsible for working closely with the head of Treasury Technology and will also participate in weekly intern cohort programming and collaborate with other interns on a group project.
Role Description:
As the Treasury Technology Intern, you will assist the team in the planning and execution of key initiatives, including the Treasury Enhancement project which includes automation of the treasury functions and tasks related to enhancing end-user liquidity reports and risk management. This internship will be hands on. You will be involved in discussions and processes for multi-million-dollar decisions. A general understanding of information/technology systems, preparation of process/task documentation, spreadsheets & presentations to enhance executive reporting capabilities are part of the role.

Basic idea of technology implementation projects from ideation to deployment.

Willing to learn Snowflake, PowerBI, or any data related applications.

Salary: $35 / hr
