Job Summary






At a Glance

  • You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
    • Business Technology Management,Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science,Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology Management, Finance, Management and Organization, Management Science and Engineering, Accounting
  • This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
  • Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
  • In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

Responsibilities






What you can expect in this role  

 

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

 

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

 

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

 

Internship responsibilities may include:

  • The AEO Delivery and Planning team provides support to the Engineering and Operations team by managing all projects to deliver on time with great quality.  This team partners with the Engineers to help deliver the end to end technical solutions such that the customers can benefit from the capability.
  • The intern will assist in the delivery of technical solutions and may assist with the purchasing and ordering of equipment.  The intern may also assist with process improvements, testing automation and creation of dashboards








Qualifications






Required qualifications

  • Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skills include analytic capabilities, project management, business acumen, personable, eager to learn, well spoken, any Engineering experience, coding experience, finance experience, budgeting experience
