Organizational Summery Statement:
This 10-hour per week GA position encompasses three main responsibilities. Firstly, the GA will oversee and promote the Clark School's Academic Peer Coaching Program. Secondly, the GA will uphold and support the ENTRY Program, updating program workflows and liaising with partner institutions. Thirdly, the GA will bolster transfer student success in the A. James Clark School of Engineering by supplying data and metrics to the Program Director for Transfer Initiatives, the Associate Dean, and the college. Specific tasks include: supervising the Academic Peer Coaches; offering training materials and workshop templates to them; facilitating their ongoing professional development; and reviewing GPA, retention, and student success trends for transfer students in the Clark School. The GA will also provide pertinent data reports on student success to the college when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a registered graduate student in good standing enrolled in a degree program at the University of Maryland and must be making satisfactory progress toward the degree.
