Admission Ambassador Program

The Office of Undergraduate Admission is seeking energetic, personable, and involved freshman, sophomores, and juniors who are excited to share their Babson experience with prospective students as a campus tour guide. You will represent the mission and values of Babson College to prospective students, their families, high school counselors, and other campus visitors.

Our goal is to make an often-intimidating process as comfortable and welcoming as possible for students by creating an inclusive, safe, and informative campus visit experience. Through a one-hour campus tour, Admission Ambassadors will share their personal experiences as Beavers and further educate visitors on our traditions, community values, academics, and student life at Babson.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple campus tours on a weekly basis totaling at about 3-5 hours per week

  • Each tour guide shift will be from 10-11:30am and 2-3:30pm.

• Deliver accurate information about the college while sharing your own personal experiences

• Confident while speaking to large groups and sharing knowledge of Babson College.

• Be personable, professional, and understanding with guests from all around the world

• Answer questions in a diplomatic and positive manner

• Be present during your tour times and other admission led events including occasional evenings and weekends.

• Occasionally staff the front desk/reception area to check in families for events, answer phones, and respond to inquiries from visiting families and community members.

Desired Skills and Characteristics: Candidates must have a genuine interest in promoting Babson College and a desire to work in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Our office is currently seeking out first-year students who are interested in joining our dynamic office! Pay Rate $15/hour
