POSITION SUMMARY
CENTER FOR FAMILY LIFE, a nationally recognized social service program in Sunset Park Brooklyn, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to serve as AmeriCorps Volunteers to support youth engagement programs and promote student leadership development and career readiness. AmeriCorps Volunteers will work collaboratively with staff and will gain experience in working with middle schoolers and learn about the social work group model. Our ideal candidate has knowledge and a demonstrated interest in working with youth and will utilize a strengths-based approach to enrich the lives of youth, families and community.
