Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

We are seeking dependable and friendly student employees to assist with the daily operations of The Cave. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible and independent work environment

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assist customers with purchases in a friendly and professional manner, Operate POS system, Stock shelves and maintain organization of products, Rotate product(FIFO), Keep store area clean, tidy and welcoming, Monitor inventory levels and notify manager when product is low, Open and/or close the store following basic procedures, Provide general customer service to students, faculty and staff, Light sweeping, dusting and moping, empty trash, any other duties assigned by management

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

No prior retail experience required; training provided
