Business Development/Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

• Work will include developing, growing, and expanding our marketing channels through social media outreach and strategic planning.


• Write social copy that is brand specific in tone and voice.


• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.


• Aligns messaging with company objectives and strategic goals.


• Writes and edits marketing materials including brochures, blogs, white papers, and more.


• Build customer insights to understand personas and inform product innovation, marketing campaigns, and content.


• Analyze business opportunities including growth into new markets, and related customer needs.


• Work with internal stakeholders to execute programs and projects.

Required Education Skills and Experience

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject with intent to obtain a position in marketing, advertising, or sales upon graduation.


• Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficiency with Microsoft office.


• Knowledge of CRM tools.


• Ability to quickly learn and process information.


• Organization and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


• Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Requirement

• 5% to 10% travel required for visiting other offices, visiting project sites, and travel for marketing campaigns.
