Cast Member, Mascot Program (Temporary)

The ETSU Bucky Mascot plays a vital role in promoting school spirit, engaging with fans, and representing the university at various events. This physically demanding position requires wearing a heavy costume for extended periods while performing energetic routines, dancing, and interacting with the public.

Requirements:

• Must be a current ETSU student in good academic standing with no disciplinary history


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• High level of enthusiasm and school spirit


• Physical ability to dance, jump, and perform in a hot, heavy costume


• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays


• Prior mascot or performance experience is a plus, but not required

Additional Expectations:

• Cast members must participate in at least 15 Bucky events per semester


• Must maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout each appearance
