The Catering Assistant works with the management team in executing high-volume group orders, box meals, and delivery event setups for local clients. This hands-on role combines guest service, food safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. It is ideal for students pursuing hospitality, business, or culinary management.

Customer Communication: Act as a professional brand representative during client drop-offs, handling minor on-site adjustments or special requests.

Safety & Sanitation: Maintain clean staging and packing areas while strictly adhering to local health codes and ServSafe/food handler guidelines.

Outstanding customer service is a must, so the catering staff we hire must always meet all our customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner.

Responsibilities of Catering Staff:

• Consulting with customers about any potential changes before delivery or pick up
• Transporting food to and from locations
• Making sure the supplies are well-organized and stocked
• Providing excellent customer service
• Preparing food in a healthy and clean kitchen environment
• Excellent food preparation skills
• Catering experience is a plus
• Great attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• A friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Maintain Chick-fil-A’s exceptional standards for craveable food quality.
• Assist and support your Managers and Team Members as needed.

• Must be 18 and over
• Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record
