Summary:

The Student Assistant will be expected to provide research, administrative, and logistical support to the Center for Latin American & Latino Studies' Director, faculty, staff, and fellows, as called upon. Assistants are called upon to conduct literature reviews, gather and interpret data, and perform other tasks as needed. The positions will also include handling various administrative and event logistics.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct literature reviews.

• Gather and interpret data.

• Other tasks assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time.

• 20 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $20.00 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

• Applicant must have a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.

• Applicants must show attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

• Excellent research, writing, and editing abilities are essential, along with strong computer and IT skills.
