Posting description
In this internship you will support vulnerability mitigation and secure operations for INL’s Linux-based High Performance Computing environment. Work may include researching relevant CVEs, helping prioritize vulnerabilities based on actual system exposure, supporting patching or mitigation efforts, and documenting findings for HPC system administrators and security staff. Depending on the student’s skills and interests, the project may also include scripting, Git-based documentation, configuration management, or security log analysis. Reporting to the High Performance Computing team. This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Idaho Falls campus. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university.

Physical requirement
