Enterprise Communications and Marketing Intern

About the Role?

 The Corporate Communications & Marketing Intern supports Landus's marketing and corporate communications functions in telling the Landus story to employees, farmers, members, customers and external audiences. The intern will gain experience across brand marketing, digital and print communications, internal and external communications, public relations and content development while working with teams across the business. 

What will you do?

•  Assist with Marketing and Enterprise Communications initiatives supporting the Landus brand, including written and visual content, promotional materials, website updates, and marketing campaigns. 
•  Assist with marketing and communication efforts and needs of our grain, feed, agronomy and sales departments. 
•  Assist with the team SharePoint site to ensure current materials are available for team members to use in promotional campaigns. 
•  Assist with the company intranet, including posting materials, assisting with the build out of pages and/or resources for other departments, etc.
• Assist and provide input into the digital and print advertising content creation activities. 
•  Complete writing projects as assigned that align with brand standards and style of Landus. 
•  Assist with public and media relations efforts, including research, writing, media monitoring and development of supporting materials. 
•  Work directly with internal sales and technical team seeking their feedback on marketing content 
•  Attend Marketing and Enterprise Communications meetings and events and contribute ideas and recommendations based on learnings. 
•  Assist in monitoring and reporting coverage of Landus in traditional media, online and in social media.
• Aid in the development of content for employee, farmer/member and other external communications, including digital newsletters.  
•  Assist with employee, farmer/member, customer and other stakeholder communications as needed. 
• Assist in the content development as well as coordination of brochures, collateral, video, event, displays, etc. 
• Assist with updating and organization contact or Excel files and databases for internal customers’ marketing/communications projects.
• Assist with project planning and management, including building out projects in Wrike and ensuring that project tasks are being completed on time.  
• Work collaboratively with both the Marketing and Enterprise Communications functions to support business needs across Landus. 

Requirements of Role: 

• Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary program with an emphasis in communications, marketing, and/or journalism. 
• A valid state drivers license
