Description

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 15 week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Rotation dates: (August 17  - December 4).

Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status). 

 



Responsibilities
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business and operational initiatives.
  • Research industry trends, new technologies, products, and best practices to support energy reduction project development and decision-making.
  • Maintain project trackers, databases, and documentation to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional projects by gathering information, tracking progress, and coordinating deliverables.
  • Analyze data, identify key findings, and communicate recommendations to team members.
  • Respond to requests for information, support materials, and project updates in a timely manner.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide updates on assigned projects and tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and overall team efficiency.
  • Complete and present a cumulative presentation summarizing internship accomplishments and key learnings.


Qualifications

Minimum

  • Open to all majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0 
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
  • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work
  • Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in groups or independently
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization
  • Managing multiple priorities between school, work or extra-curricular activities
  • Responds to change as a positive challenge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Significant level of multi-tasking
