This is a functional program and not departmentally based. As such, this skills acquisition phase may run concurrently with other skills acquisition phases.

Position: Floor Manager - Management Skills Acquisition
Duration: 3 months

[FIRST NAME] will learn to manage daily operations of the restaurants, maintain clear, timely communication with team, leadership, guests, and vendors; support the Chef de Cuisine to ensure consistent food quality and presentation; drive company goals in sales, service, quality, cleanliness, and training through team leadership; partner with GM and HR on hiring and terminations, following company policies; promote staff development in food, wine, and service knowledge; enforce policies fairly and consistently; manage corrective actions as needed; ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations. This is a functional program and not departmentally based. As such, this skills acquisition phase may run concurrently with other skills acquisition phases.

Duration: 3 months

[FIRST NAME] will learn financial management concepts of restaurant management; learn to monitor and control of the labor and food costs; learn to assist with daily and weekly forecasting; learn process for scheduling and staffing, payroll procedures, gratuity distribution methods, revenue reporting; learn cost control methods; learn to make decisions that drive profits; assist in preparing financial reports; schedule staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line; learn to understand the revenue and expense tracking to ensure reporting accuracy.
