Finance Intern

Summary: The Finance Intern will provide support to the Finance department by assisting with a variety of finance activities, including recurring processes, ad hoc projects, and other business needs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance while contributing to meaningful projects that support relevant business objectives.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and demonstrate strong learning agility while possessing analytical and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist with recurring financial reporting processes

• Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives

• Contribute to the cleansing, validation, and organization of financial data

• Support the development of financial models, reports, and analytical tools

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement

• Provide support to the Finance department as needed

• Other duties may be assigned

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrates strong learning agility and the ability to adapt to new information

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Education and/or Experience Preferred:

Currently an enrolled undergraduate student studying Finance, Accounting or related field
