What You'll Do:

·      Assists in the preparation of Medicaid Cost Reports

·      Works with the Department of Medicaid to calculate interim rates

·      Incorporates audit adjustments into the cost report, calculates final rates

·      Assist with developmental center cost report settlements,

·      Works with Department of Medicaid to negotiate final settlement

·      Uses Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS) to pull monthly remittance advices

·      Use the Excel work sheet to submit Medicaid claims to MITS to be processed for payment

·      Assists supervisor in review and analysis of fiscal records

·      Provides technical assistance in the use of QuickBooks with developmental center internal funds/accounts

·      Assists in preparation and analysis of revenue and expenditure tracking for developmental center internal accounts

·      Assists in preparation & submission of required state and/or federal fiscal reports

·      Establish deliverables

·      Reconcile QuickBooks balance to old ledgers (DCIMS/Excel),

·      Prepare Bank reconciliation reports for various accounts between QuickBooks and Bank Statements

·   Uses Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) Business Intelligence reporting tools to generate & Balance reports (e.g., voucher detail, general ledger, encumbrance balance, revenue/cash balance, etc.)

·     Uses Excel functions (e.g., logical lookup & reference, statistical & math functions) to create reports, track & forecast expenditures, revenue & cash.
