There are two positions available for this role. This is a part-time school-year internship opportunity expected to last up to five months. As a Machine Learning Intern within the Port of Seattle ICT Department, you’ll gain hands-on experience at one of the largest ports on the West Coast, supporting ML and AI-related prototypes and pilot projects for various operating divisions, including Aviation (SEA Airport), and Maritime (Fishermen’s Terminal, Marinas, Cruise Ship Terminals) divisions. You’ll work closely with an assigned mentor and collaborate with experienced engineers, assisting with the development of ML and AI prototypes that involve problem definition, model and dataset development, model training and evaluation, concluding with deployment and end-user feedback.
