Job Description - Hawaii Pacific Health (Kapiolani)




Full time CMA position. Practice specialties: pediatric subspecialies- various. Office hours of operation: generally Monday - Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm. Fulll time, part time, temporary, per diem positions also available. 







Job Duties: 



"Patient intake: vitals, orders, med refills, clinical reconciliations
 Coordinated visits, surgery, procedures: schedule coordination, submit and process authorizations
 Patient Education
 Phones: answer clinical questions, provide results as needed per physician
 Assist in managing department's clinic schedule
 secondary support as needed for phones, scheduling, registration, patient reminders"


Requirements



Covid vaccine required, no booster is needed. For graduates looking for employment, CCMA certification is required. 






For externs, must be open to MA externships in departments, willing to hire into department upon successful completion of CCMA certification.
