HR & Talent Acquisition Intern

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly positions, including job posting, candidate sourcing, application review, phone screens, interview coordination, interview participation, candidate selection, offer administration, and onboarding.


• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to support staffing strategy, workforce planning, and hiring decisions.


• Maintain accurate recruiting records, prepare recruiting metrics and reports, and assist with applicant tracking and HR systems administration.


• Support employer branding, community outreach, job fairs, and partnerships with schools, workforce organizations, and other talent pipelines.


• Assist with internship, apprenticeship, and workforce development programs.


• Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities, including scheduling, facilitation, and documentation.


• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, company events, and training and development activities.


• Complete HR-related administrative tasks, reporting, and special projects as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or a related field.


• Prior applicable work, internship, leadership, or volunteer experience preferred but not required.

Hours & Schedule

• This internship is planned as a Fall and Spring opportunity.


• Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules and academic commitments.


• Schedule and work hours will be determined collaboratively between the intern and supervisor based on business needs and availability.

Physical Requirements

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds regularly and 20 pounds occasionally.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
