Job Summary
The Intern is responsible for assisting in the daily tasks within the F&I department. This internship will allow for the utilization of learned skills at college along with the learning of on-the-job skills that will enhance the overall development of the individual.
Essential Functions
- Partner with the F&I team to support deal processing, documentation, and funding workflows
- Assist in preparing finance packages, credit applications, and deal summaries
- Observe and support customer financing discussions and product presentations
- Learn compliance standards related to lending, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze deals for profitability, pricing structure, and risk considerations
- Collaborate with sales team to support deal flow and customer experience
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and tracking key performance metrics
- Participate in leadership meetings and operational reviews
- Support special projects focused on process improvement and efficiency
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university (Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
- Strong interest in finance, sales, or business operations
- Demonstrated leadership experience (student organizations, athletics, work, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
