Master’s Level Counseling Internship

Pacific Mental Health – Lynnwood, WA, Seattle, WA, and Remote

Pacific Mental Health is seeking Master’s-level students in counseling, social work or related fields to join our team for a dynamic and enriching internship experience. This is an incredible opportunity to deepen your knowledge and develop hands-on skills in direct therapy while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Internship

This internship offers valuable experience in providing individual and couples counseling services, participating in case consultations, and honing clinical skills. Interns will work closely with experienced supervisors who are committed to fostering professional growth and confidence.

What We Offer

• Hybrid Work Options: Combine in-person and remote work while serving clients in Lynnwood, WA, and Seattle, WA.


• In-Person Opportunities: Provide therapy and collaborate on-site at our Lynnwood and Seattle offices.


• Fully Remote Work: Available for interns working with clients in Washington.


• Future Expansion: We plan to offer fully remote opportunities in Arizona, and Idaho soon (not yet available).

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and couples counseling to a diverse clientele.


• Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.


• Maintain accurate and professional treatment notes.


• Present cases in group supervision for constructive feedback.


• Develop and refine your theoretical orientation in counseling.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome Master’s-level students from counseling, social work, or related fields who are eager to grow in their profession.

Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s-level program in counseling, social work, or a related field.


• Must be flexible with scheduling to meet the needs of clients and supervision.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual skills (a plus but not required).


• Previous experience in the mental health field or related areas.
