Network & Security Installs Intern

• Network, security camera, and access control system installation and configuration
  
• Installation of ethernet, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling
  
• Diagnose and repair security systems and networks
  
• Record keeping and daily explanation of time and materials
  
• Managing and organizing new and existing network infrastructure
  
• Driving to and from job sites
  
• Reading and interpreting floor plans and prints
  

• Technical proficiency: Possess a solid foundation in relevant technical skills such as hardware knowledge, troubleshooting, and familiarity with operating systems.
  
• Analytical mindset: Demonstrate the ability to analyze and solve complex problems related to computer systems and components.
  
• Adaptability: Stay flexible and adapt to new technologies, hardware trends, and evolving industry standards.
  
• Attention to detail: Exhibit precision in handling computer components during assembly, upgrades, or repairs, and pay close attention to compatibility.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies
  
• Hands -on experience with common software and hardware
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  
• Ability to lift over 75 lbs
  
• Ability to use power tools and ladders
