Operations Intern - Summers '27

KEB Wealth Advisors are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Operations Intern to join our St. Louis office. This is an in-office opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in financial services operations, client service, and wealth management. The intern will work closely with advisors and the operations team to support the day-to-day needs of clients. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, professional, and interested in developing a career in the financial services industry. Based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit, this internship may provide an opportunity to be considered for a full-time Operations Specialist position following graduation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist advisors and operations team members with client service and operational requests.


• Help facilitate monetary, maintenance, and paperwork requests through the firm’s CRM.


• Monitor pending new accounts and account transfers.


• Assist with communications involving custodians and back-office providers.


• Accurately record client communications and service activity in the CRM.


• Monitor client cash levels and investment allocations.


• Assist with client onboarding activities.


• Support special projects, including client appreciation events and other team initiatives.


• Develop a working knowledge of the firm’s investment philosophy and operational procedures.


• Track assigned projects and follow up on outstanding items.

Learning and Development Opportunities

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field.


• Strong interest in financial services, wealth management, or client operations.


• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.


• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals having various personalities and communication styles.


• Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and remain organized in a demanding work environment.


• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
