Responsibilities

You can see yourself 

  • As a member of a facilities planning and design team working to achieve the highest quality results and finding ways to improve

  • Developing and maintaining building evacuation plans, life safety diagrams, and emergency information for a portfolio of 66+ existing and historic buildings totaling over 9.8 million square feet along the Wasatch Front

  • Interpreting building floor plans and field information to accurately document evacuation routes, emergency exits, fire safety equipment, areas of refuge, and other life safety features

  • Using Revit to create clear, user-friendly building documentation

  • Verifying building conditions and maintaining facility information to ensure evacuation plans remain accurate and current

  • Supporting facility planning initiatives through drafting, documentation, and data management tasks

  • Taking responsibility for assignments that require initiative and working with moderate supervision

Qualifications

Your background and qualifications include

  • You are a current student or have graduated within the last 12 months with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in facilities management, drafting, construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience using Revit, required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication, ability to communicate information clearly thru graphics and technical documents
