RIGHT NOW.\n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled \u0026 veterans. \n\nPrimary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Milan \nFunction: Other (CA) \nTitle: Part-Time Student - Communications - Milan, IL - 120178 \nOnsite/Remote:Onsite Position\n\nNote: Relocation assistance is not provided.\n\nThe Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company\u2019s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.\n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\nAs a Part-Time Student - Communications for North American Parts Distribution Center in Milan, IL, you will\n\n * Newsletters: Receive and source content for newsletters, including reporting and photos, and help create the layout and distribution for newsletters\n * Photos and Videos: Assist with photo and video shoots and post-production using company-approved editing software, such as Adobe Rush, Vyond, and other platforms\n * Events: Assist with events, such as meetings, employee events, and other unit events.\n * Presentations: Provide support in laying out and sourcing photos and information for presentations, as needed.\n * Brand: Ensure John Deere\u0027s brand is applied to communications, print, and licensed products\n * Other: Assists with other communication activities, as needed \n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Communications; others may apply\n * Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university\n * Graduation date of Spring of 2027 or later\n * Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above\n * Available to work 10-15 hours/week during the academic year\n * Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester\n * Are you able to commute to the designated work location, North American Parts Distribution Center in Milan, IL, on a (regular/daily) basis year round?
