Planning Co-op

We're looking for a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Supply Chain team. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the inner workings of Boston Beer's supply chain and develop a broad understanding of how this critical area of the business operates.

The Co-op will build a cross-functional network with team members across production planning, operations, supply planning, materials resourcing, customer operations, inventory control, and transportation. Through these partnerships, the Co-op will gain a macro-level understanding of the connections, processes, and support structures that enable the organization's supply chain.

This opportunity will provide meaningful professional development through hands-on project work, exposure to SAP and Excel, and opportunities to drive change while strengthening business acumen.

This position is part of a six-month co-op program running from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027. The role is fully onsite at our Breinigsville, PA Brewery.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Reporting

• Maintain, update, and present the planning scorecard.

• Organize planning data to support clear and effective business presentations.

• Help identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.

Process Improvement

• Support changeover and workflow mapping initiatives.

• Document current processes and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to better understand supply chain workflows and dependencies.

   

Materials Planning and Standardization

• Support the standardization of material requirements planning (MRP) processes.

• Assist with maintaining material planning parameters, including safety stock levels and lead times.

• Help improve the accuracy and consistency of materials planning information.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field and continue to be enrolled upon completion of the Co-op

• Must continue to be enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op. 

• Coursework or a concentration in Supply Chain Management is a plus.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Exposure to SAP.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

   

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Exposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES), such as Wonderware.

• Familiarity with Kinaxis, SAP, or similar supply chain planning systems.

• Interest in supply chain operations, process improvement, and materials planning.
