Respiratory Care Intern

The Respiratory Care Intern will assist the Respiratory Therapists (RTs) in assessing and treating patients ranging in age from the very young (newborn) to the very old in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct breathing disorders associated with a medical trauma or disease process. Responsible for assisting in the treatment of both inpatients and outpatients. Interns may work with patients on an individual and/or group basis using current technology and treatment techniques consistent with department and hospital policies and procedures. 
 

Schedule:

• Temporary, Casual | 2- 8-hour shifts in a 4-week (schedule) period
• Various shifts
• This role is anticipated to last through August 30^th, 2027

Pay and Benefits:

• Flat Rate: $20.57 per hour

Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Care program and in good academic standing.
• Completion of at least six months of respiratory care education. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Required
