About the Job

Are you a high-achieving student looking to do more than just shadow meetings and format spreadsheets? At SAP Taulia, we’re looking for a visionary Summer Associate to join our Risk & Compliance Team.

This isn't a "busy work" internship. You will be given direct access to a marquee project that sits at the intersection of fintech, regulatory integrity, and cutting-edge automation. We need a leader-in-the-making who can look at complex global processes and ask, "How can we make this smarter, faster, and more secure?"

Your Marquee Project: The Future of Onboarding

Your primary mission will be to help revolutionize our Customer Onboarding Lifecycle. You will lead a strategic deep dive into:

• KYC (Know Your Customer) & AML (Anti-Money Laundering): Streamlining identity verification across diverse jurisdictions.


• Fraud Mitigation: Identifying patterns and implementing preventative logic.


• AI Integration: Evaluating and prototyping AI-driven tools to automate manual verification steps and risk scoring.

Responsibilities

• Process Architecture: Map current onboarding workflows to identify bottlenecks and friction points for new customers.


• AI Strategy: Research and propose specific AI or LLM-based solutions to increase efficiency in document review and risk assessment.


• Project Leadership: Act as a "Product Owner" for a specific segment of the compliance roadmap, presenting your findings and progress to senior leadership.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Legal teams to ensure compliance solutions are seamlessly integrated into the Taulia platform.


• Data Analysis: Use management and BI tools to quantify the impact of proposed changes on "Time to Onboard" and "Risk Accuracy."

Internship Details

• Start Date: June 8, 2026


• Application Deadline: May 29, 2023


• Length of Internship: 3 months


• Monday - Friday: 40 hours per week


• Compensation: $25 per hour (set rate)


• Location: Hybrid - San Francisco, CA
