Are you an engineering student who enjoys working with people to solve technical problems? The Powerex Sales Engineering Co-op program provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of sales, engineering, business, and customer engagement. Unlike traditional engineering co-ops, this role provides exposure to the business side of engineering. Students work alongside experienced sales professionals to learn how complex engineered systems are specified, built, sold and supported. You’ll visit customer sites and interact with industry professionals, while developing communication and leadership skills that set you apart from traditional engineering graduates.
Position Summary
The Sales Engineering Co-op will support the sales team in expanding Powerex’s presence in the medical piped equipment and laboratory markets. The co-op will assist with territory management, customer support, product education, and market development activities while developing a strong understanding of consultative, relationship-driven technical sales, customer needs and industrial systems.
