The internship will enable the candidate and Schlumberger determine if these requirements are met before committing to a full time job.\n\n\n\nDEPARTMENT: Marketing Communications\n\n| \n\nJOB TITLE: Marketing Communications Specialist \n \n---|--- \n \nLOCATION: WEC HQ, Sugar Land, TX\n\n| \n\nREPORTS TO: External Marketing Communications Manager \n \nPURPOSE OF JOB: \nThe Division MarCom Specialist creates and implements effective marketing campaigns that support their division\u2019s business strategies. They collaborate closely with product management to ensure new products are effectively brought to market. This involves reviewing the marketing book and launch book with product champions, project engineering, and S\u0026C to ensure the final books incorporate a marketing plan that aligns with the product or service positioning. This also includes supporting the creation of marketing materials, such as product sheets, external webpages, and Elevate 360 workspaces. The role also collaborates with the Central Marketing and Communication teams and occasionally other divisions to build integrated marketing campaigns that align with division strategic pillars and articulate value to customers. \n \n## MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n * Are brand advocates supporting the master brand\n * Collaborate with product management using the marketing book and launch book to identify appropriate potential names for new products and services\n * Collaborate with product management using the marketing book and launch book to create impactful product introduction plans communicating clear value propositions to customers \n * Support creation of marketing collateral: product sheets, case studies, webpages, renders/images, animations, news releases, and the MyPaper process\n * Create \u0026 maintain on-brand templates: i.e. Performance bulletins, BL family brochures, and LinkedIn \n * Create dedicated workspaces, load and maintain collateral into Elevate 360 (sales assets managed by PCs)\n * Support content for tech days and tradeshows as needed\n * Collaborate with product management team on technology\n * Monitor and report external advertising performance\n\n \n--- \n \n## SKILLS NEEDED:\n\n * Strong organization skills\n * Good communication skills\n * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders that are senior in the organization\n * Ability to facilitate large groups\n * Good time management to handle multiple competing deadlines\n\n \n--- \n \n## ADDITIONAL SKILLS:\n\n * Technical background or marketing background\n * Technical background allows faster understanding of new products and services, customer drivers, and the value of features and benefits\n * Marketing background understands channels, SEO, personas, and other tactics used on the job\n\n \n--- \n \nPrevious S\u0026C beneficial \u2013 this aids in understanding and articulating value propositions \n
