Summer 2027 Accounting Intern

Our Accounting team is looking for an intern to join us for the summer of 2027.

As an Accounting Intern, you'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals, supporting day-to-day accounting activities, assisting with financial reporting, and contributing to the timely and accurate reporting of the company's financial results. This internship offers valuable real-world experience, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to develop skills that will help set the foundation for a successful career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs daily and monthly duties such as:
  
  
  
  • Assists in month-end process
  
  
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  
  
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  
  
  • Invoicing
  
  
  
  


• Assist with audits and compliance tasks.


• Perform other ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned.


• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.


• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Vistal.


• Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.


• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
