Summer Business Intern

The Steadman Philippon Research Institute is known throughout the world for our research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of orthopaedic disorders. We are committed to solving orthopaedic problems that limit an individual's ability to maintain an active life. SPRI offers a limited number of summer business intern positions to advance its  mission and to provide a unique opportunity for operational research participation to future administrators. 

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions (may vary depending on department):

• Conducting business reviews.
• Compile research on assigned topics.
• Maintain personal commitment to the Steadman Philippon Research Institutes Foundation’s mission and values.
• Maintain confidentiality of acquired information.

Classification: Temporary employment of 8 weeks, non-exempt position. 

• Current business student preferred.
• Strong customer service interaction and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Well-developed administrative skills with a pro-active approach to organizing tasks.
• Participative approach to work.
