Volunteer Service Opportunities

We are seeking compassionate volunteers to support patients, families, and staff across a variety of non-clinical service areas, including:

• Inpatient & Perioperative Rounding: Providing comfort and assistance to patients and loved ones during inpatient stays and outpatient procedures, while supporting staff with non-clinical and administrative tasks

• Child Life Support: Assisting Child Life Specialists with playroom activities, bedside engagement, and family-centered support

• Emergency Department Support (Wakefield or Weiler): Welcoming patients and families, providing comfort and communication support, assisting with discharges, escorting visitors, and helping maintain a positive, organized environment (Volunteers must be18 years and older)

• NICU Baby Cuddler (Weiler Hospital): Offering essential physical comfort and emotional care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to support healthy development (Volunteers must be 18 years and older)

• Caregiver Support Services: Providing emotional support and practical assistance to family caregivers while their loved ones are hospitalized or receiving treatment (Volunteer must be 18 years and older)

• Clerical & Administrative Support: Assisting with office operations, data entry, and program coordination

• Discharge Lounge Support: Supporting patients and families during the discharge process to ensure a smooth transition

• Customer Service & Hospitality: Creating a welcoming experience by assisting visitors, answering questions, and supporting front-facing service areas

• Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart & Family Room (CHAM): Supporting families by distributing refreshments and comfort items and assisting guests in the Family Room (Family Room Volunteers must be18 years and older)

• Project BRAVO / AIDS Center: Supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS through community outreach and staffing the BRAVO food pantry
