The hourly salary for this role ranges from $20.77 - $25.96 per hour for those enrolled in bachelor programs and $34.62 per hour for those in a master program.\n\nPosition Overview: \n\nThis internship supports customer\u2011facing training, product support, and internal knowledge initiatives across engineering services, offering hands-on experience working with cross\u2011functional teams and electrical utilities on real\u2011world deployments while learning utility technologies and building technical, collaborative, and ownership-driven skills. In this internship, you will: \n\u2022 Build and maintain analytics and productivity solutions, including Power BI dashboards and Microsoft Copilot\u2011based tools for targeted project needs \n\u2022 Capture and translate subject\u2011matter expertise into clear, structured internal documentation, training materials, and a shared knowledge base \n\u2022 Create, maintain, and optimize learning and customer\u2011facing content within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and reusability for internal and external use. \n\u2022 Support active customer projects and technical initiatives, including procedure reviews, firmware rollout support, validation, and customer support activities\n\nThis internship will help prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. As an intern, you will be provided with a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members to assist you in developing your career. \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Actively enrolled in a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree program from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 (please don\u0027t round) \n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Must be within 50 miles of work location to be considered. \n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Actively enrolled in a bachelor\u2019s degree program in a technical program (Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Communication, Education or similar) from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher \n\u2022 Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community \n\u2022 Demonstrated customer facing experience is preferred. \n\u2022 Prior electrical utility/power industry related experience \n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Criteria: \n\u2022 Transportation to and from the worksite, and for incidental business travel, is the responsibility of the intern. \n\u2022 Strong analytical, computer, organization, communication and presentation skills. \n\u2022 Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels. \n\u2022 The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where participants showcase their success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance.\n
