Technical Intern A&P-Experimental

JOB SUMMARY:

The Community College/Technical School Intern experiences are designed to provide community college and technical school student employee’s an in-depth exposure to career opportunities at Textron Aviation.  Students will be given meaningful business-driven work and will be responsible for supporting the business in a hands-on, entry level capacity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (may include, but not limited to):

·               Interacts with multiple departments on a variety of manufacturing issues. ​

·               Performs research necessary to maintain and exercise a working knowledge of new processes and techniques. ​

·               Prepares periodic activity and status reports. Performs special assignments as required by management or mentor. ​

·               Demonstrates the ability to communicate technical and business information concisely and effectively, both written and oral.

EDUCATION:

Must be a current student enrolled at a 2-year community college or technical school.

EXPERIENCE:

·               Excellent verbal and written communication skills ​

·               Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ​

·               Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments ​

·               Excellent organizational skills ​

·               Computer Proficiency (MS Office, CAD, etc.)
