The House Manager will be responsible for theatrical patron services for all scheduled theatre performances. They are required to watch a performance of each production during the designated crew view so they understand how to answer patron questions.
Responsibilities include:
• Cleaning and prepping the theatre space for an audience
• Finding ushers to help navigate patrons in and out of the theatre space
• Directing traffic to the theatre
• Distributing programs
• Taking tickets
• Providing service for patrons with mobility issues
• Learning the policies on how to navigate any emergency situation that may arise during a performance
• Remaining in the theatre lobby during all performances
• Communicating with the stage manager to report house count and any patron issues that arise during the run of performances
