Position Overview:

As a Translation Operations Department Intern at TE, you will gain valuable hands -on experience in the dynamic field of translation project management and language services coordination. You will work closely with our experienced team, assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of translation projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the translation industry and contribute to our mission of connecting people through language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers to support the successful execution of translation projects, including document preparation, vendor coordination, and quality assurance checks.
  
• Vendor Management: Assist in identifying and onboarding freelance translators and language experts. Maintain clear and organized vendor records.
  
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on translated content to ensure accuracy and adherence to client -specific requirements.
  
• Project Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
  
• Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, translators, and internal team members.
  
• Research: Conduct research related to specific translation projects, industries, or language nuances to support project success.
  
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as invoicing, project tracking, and file management.
  
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the Translation Operations Department.
  

Requirements

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field.
  
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and at least one other language.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Detail -oriented with strong organizational skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with translation management tools is a plus.
  
• Passion for languages and a desire to learn about the translation industry.
